We’re a highly energetic and innovative team that has developed ground-breaking analytics that can itemize home energy usage data to the appliance level without using any plug-level monitors. Bidgely was founded in 2011 by Abhay Gupta and Vivek Garud, who were united by a passion to change the way we think about our home energy consumption and a vision for a low-cost technology that could achieve global impact.

From its origins of two guys in a garage in Mountain View, CA with a big idea, Bidgely quickly grew into a team of brilliant data scientists, engineers, salespeople and marketers housed in Sunnyvale, CA.

And we’re just getting started. There are 5.6 billion people with access to electricity across the world today, and this will only continue to grow. We want to be the engine for every household everywhere to understand their energy usage and make informed decisions that are good for their pocketbooks and good for the planet. Job description:

• Design and develop framework, internal tools and scripts for testing large scale data systems, machine learning algorithms and responsive User Interface. 
• Understand requirements, design exhaustive test scenarios, execute manual and automated test cases, dig deeper into issues, identify root causes and articulate defects clearly. 
• Simulate and test data streams from various hardware devices. 
• Strive for excellence in quality by looking beyond obvious scenarios and stated requirements and by keeping end user needs in mind. 
• Deliver a high quality robust product in a fast paced start-up environment. 
• Collaborate with engineering team and product management to elicit & understand their requirements and develop potential solutions. 
• Stay current with latest technology, tools and methodologies; share knowledge by clearly articulating results and ideas to key decision makers

Desired Skills : 

• Knowledge in test cases design, manual testing.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Good in RDBMS or any of the large data system such as Hadoop, Cassandra etc.
• Experience of testing on various browsers and devices.
• Inclination to learn automation tools such as Selenium, Testing, JUnit etc.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
