Job Location:

To be based out of the Canada office of the company with a roadmap to move to the US. This arrangement is due to constraints in obtaining a US Visa.

Job Description:

We are looking for a team member that owns and operates a high-availability, cross-cloud, large-volume, data processing system which is one of the foundational pieces of our Cloud security platform. Design and implement resilient, flexible, and highly scalable platforms for collecting and processing terabytes per day. 

The company is hiring for multiple roles. Respective job descriptions are mentioned below:

1. Distributed backend Software Engineer:

Builds backend services for a variety of security-related applications in AWS, Azure, and GCP. SaaS development and deployment using modern cloud platforms.

Tech Stack: Java, SQL, GraphQL, Golang. Familiarity with cloud-based data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, etc). Experience handling large-scale of data including processing, querying, and optimizing for performance, cost, and efficiency. Graph database experience e.g. AWS Neptune, neo4j a plus. Strong product end-to-end delivery experience especially working with cloud security e.g. IAM or Cloud identity experience is a plus.

2. Full-stack Software Engineer:

Builds mainly UI and possibly backend services for a variety of security-related applications in AWS, Azure and GCP. Strong experience building web-based user interfaces and developing data-intensive applications.

Tech Stack: React, Typescript, GraphQL. Experience with Java and SQL would be a plus. Strong product end-to-end delivery experience especially working with cloud security e.g. IAM or Cloud identity experience is a plus.

3. Distributed systems infrastructure engineer:

Used at scale or contributed to the development of the following types of distributed systems - messages brokers (Kafka, SQS), API and application servers (REST, gRPC), data ingestion and transformation using concurrent and parallel programs, control plane services (auto scalers, task schedulers, workflow orchestrators), observability stack (metrics, logs)

Tech Stack: Distributed scalable microservices in the Cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) using languages like Java/Go/Rust. Python experience would be beneficial.

4. Linux Agent Developer:

Linux Agent is a crucial component of our cloud workload portfolio. It collects data with all the context needed to provide customers with complete runtime visibility into their security posture. It also feeds this data into various modeling algorithms that generate events to inform customers of any malicious activity that may occur within their workloads.

It is deployed on hundreds of thousands of machines and continues to scale. The key objective is to serve Cloud Security use cases without losing data fidelity while supporting a wide range of Kubernetes/cloud environments.

Tech Stack: Golang, C/C++ or Rust programming; Linux OS internals, multi-threaded programming and networking Experience with Kubernetes and Cloud technologies for major cloud providers (AWS, GCP. Azure) is a plus. Experience with CPU, memory and general resource profiling and tuning is a plus.

5. Data Modeling Engineer:

Data Science, Data Analytics, Training, Validation, Model Deployment.

Tech Stack: Kubernetes, Python, torch, scikit-learn, pandas, TensorFlow, huggingface, transformers, PyTorch.

6. LLMs/GenAI Engineer:

AWS Bedrock, Retrieval Augmented Generation, Prompt Engineering, Natural Language Processing/Generation.

Tech Stack: Kubernetes, React, Typescript, Python, Java, Langchain, Llama Index, OpenAI.
