Job Description :

What you will be doing:

  • Build expertise in our API security solution and use your experience to design and implement a test automation framework that is maintainable, extensible, and reliable. Understand the product functionalities and derive the product testing requirements.
  • Work closely with the development and feature owner teams to identify the requirements for new tools and enhancements to existing tools that enable a quality deliverable by the team.
  • Conduct test case reviews and ensure requirements traceability and proper coverage.
  • Assist development teams in determining appropriate quality goals and acceptance criteria.
  • Help to create and implement quality processes and requirements.
  • Produce status reports and quality metrics.


Who’s in the team and what’s it like?

The team is composed of a group of committed individuals covering Python, Java, TestNG, Robot, Kubernetes, and cloud technologies. We are based across several countries including India, Israel, and the US. We work closely with Product Management, Dev, and Support teams to deliver solutions for our customers. Each team member brings their own flavor and expertise to the group, which helps us in building robust products for our customers. What you need for this position:

  • Proficient in programming. Preferably using Python or Java.
  • Extensive knowledge of UNIX/Linux environments.
  • Knowledge of distributed source code control systems such as Git.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
     

Warning :    

  • We understand that despite having state-of-the-art proctoring systems for remote tests, few of the candidates engaging in malpractices go undetected.
  • Therefore, on or before the date of joining, all the selected candidates will be administered the pH Test again in person at Imperva's office in Bangalore.
