About eLitmus:

About your role:

You will be assigned to a team. Each team will be given complete ownership of a project. You will have to use your entrepreneurial spirit, resourcefulness and initiative to complete it. Supervision will be minimal. On successful completion, you stand a chance to get a pre-placement offer from eLitmus (more about it below).

About the Projects -

• There are 6 projects. Each project will have 2 to 4 interns working as an independent team with minimal mentoring.
• Projects may or may not require a software to be built
• Candidates intending to make a career in software, will be assigned to projects where a part of the scope is to build software.
• Some sample projects -
  • Youtube Channel - Ideate, script, shoot and edit videos to create a youth-focused youtube channel. In addition, market it to get a critical number of followers and views.
  • Campus Ambassador Program - Create a program in which campus ambassadors across colleges in India can be appointed year on year and the same can be leveraged by companies in FMCG, eCommerce space as a low-cost channel to do mass reach-outs.
  • Tool building - Build tools and software from scratch that can be used in a startup environment. Post building the same, you will have to popularise them by doing SEO, online marketing etc
  • App building - Build an Android app to help students improve their mathematical and problem-solving abilities. 

All of the above projects are moonshots for eLitmus and not part of its active business line. eLitmus is making the investments so as to get future colleagues. And what better way to evaluate than making them crack real-life problems. 

Duration and Compensation Details:

• You should be able to complete the project in 6 weeks
  • In case your team needs extra time to complete the same, the same shall be accommodated
  • In case your college mandates longer duration internship the duration can be extended 
• The project completion stipend will be ₹ 38,000 for each team member.

Eligibility:

• 2023 batch BE / BTech / MCA (All Branches)
• Good academic track record
• A 90+%ile pH score will take you to the top of the application stack and will be processed first (pH Score not compulsory)

Selection Process:

The selection process is rigorous and only the very best make it through. The key skills evaluated are 

• Problem-solving
• Initiative
  • In real life should have gone out of the way on activities that take months to complete 
• Extensive reading habit (current affairs, non-fiction, economy etc) OR lots of real-life software / app building experience
• Holding significant positions of responsibilities

Round 1 will be a test

• Candidates seeking software profiles will undergo an aptitude test and a technical coding challenge.
• Others will undergo just an aptitude test

Pre placement offer

• Candidates who perform exceptionally well in their projects and are able to deliver results will get a Pre Placement Offer from eLitmus. The salary for the available roles are as follows
  • Full-stack Developer - ₹ 12 Lakh
  • Business Associate - ₹ 8 Lakh

Note:

• The internship will be remote, i.e. work from home
  • Therefore, a good internet connection and a laptop / pc is a must
