About the company:

eLitmus is a first-of-its-kind service in the world. Since it was launched in 2005, eLitmus has been redefining how fresher and entry-level recruitment is done in India. Our proprietary pH Test evaluates job seekers based on a variety of parameters, and grades them nationwide using an advanced statistical model. An extensive range of online tools that we provide help recruiters to easily screen and select candidates based on this and dozens of other parameters.

Why eLitmus technology team?

eLitmus was founded by a bunch of technocrats. Technology had to be the backbone of our business, and it is. If you are a nerd, we are the employer you are looking for. Java is passe in eLitmus. We have moved much ahead and make use of many open source technologies - Ruby on Rails, MySQL, MongoDB, Git, OpenCV, Docker to name a few.

If the answer to any of the below questions is a sad “yes”, come talk to us…

  • You feel that your current job is not adding value to you or utilising your full potential and limiting your creativity ?
  • You want to be part of a high-functioning team that works on building product functionalities right from back-end algorithms straight up to the user interface ?

Perks:

  • You get to choose between a Macbook and an iMac.
  • Contribute to open source and earn good karma.
  • Freedom to learn and try any new technology and keep your boss on his toes.

Eligibility:

  • B.E/B.Tech/MCA (2014, 2015 batch)
  • You will be asked to crack a hands-on coding assignment in one of the rounds,  if that horrifies you, you may not apply!
  • High pH score

Desired skills:

Our selection process is extremely rigorous, but some traits which can get you into the eLitmus technology team are:

  • High on logic and love mathematics, puzzles and brain teaser.
  • A technology enthusiast who goes into microscopic levels of the systems or technologies that s/he is working on, a.k.a Nerd.
  • Always on the lookout for new technologies to dirty your hands with.
  • You can understand a business problem, ask the right questions and quickly come up with a prototype.
  • Follow TDD, religiously follow software development best practices and end up writing beautiful code.
  • Have been part of an agile team (good to have) and help the team to constantly improve and refine their working practices.

With all the above, you are still very well glued into what's happening in the world at large around you -  you most definitely not lack General Knowledge. If a non-technology friend asks you about the recent glitch in processors, you will be able to explain him in detail about the issue.

Note: There will "take from home" coding challenge as the first round of selection, post which selected candidates will be called for further rounds.
