  • There are three sections in the question paper.
  • Each section has 20 questions
  • Two sample questions from each section have been included below.

 Verbal aptitude

Directions for questions 1 to 2: Fill in the blanks with the most appropriate choice.

 Problem Solving

 Directions for question 1 to 2: Each question is followed by two statements. You have to decide whether the information provided in the statements is sufficient for answering the question.

 Mark (a) if the question can be answered by using one of the statements alone, but cannot be answered by using the other statements alone.

Mark (b) if the question can be answered by using either statement alone.

Mark (c) if the question can be answered by using both statements together, but cannot be answered by using either statement alone.

Mark (d) if the question cannot be answered even by using both the statements together.

  1.  How many different triangles can be formed?
    1. There are 16 coplanar, straight lines in all
    2. No two lines are parallel
  1.  How many philosophy books does Amar have in his personal library?
    1. Amar has four times as many philosophy books as physics books

 Quantitative Aptitude

  1.  A man rows upstream for 20 miles in 5 hours and 10 miles downstream in 2 hrs. What is the speed of the man in still water?
