Wipro or Infosys

i have offer from both and very confused. some people say wipro as the work is good and some say infosys as chances to go abroad are higher. which one should i choose. anyone who has worked in both companies ???

Go for Infosys

If you come from a small town where you will be worshipped if you join Infosys, then join Infosys. Otherwise any other company is better. Most of the work is very average .mostly revolves around production support & testing.

Only your parents will be proud that you are at Infosys. Yes campus in Bangalore / Mysore is great and you have many eating joints / gym. That way it is only good. Trust me I know

boss why do you forget the training. training at infosys and TCS rocks .... no one can match. i agree with pulkit for after that. move to product company after that but if u with mainframe .... then bhagwan maalik hai

hi am a fresher and my brother works in wipro he feels very comport which company u go it not matters but how much hardwork u put to give customer satisfaction is important

If u ask me wipro or Infosys ...i will say Infosys...

Infosys has no Indian client base(may be 5%)...In my experience of 5-6 projects i never worked on a support/maintenence project. I worked only in develeopment projects. It depends on the department u r into after ur training, and the requirement across projects. There is every chance that u r trained in one tech and do work in other technology also.

Wipro has got only 40% of client base outside India.I have some frnds in wipro who say they work mostly on maintenence projects.

anyway as s/w engineer if u work on both type of projects then only it will be good. Infosys campuses and the facilities can never be compared with others. Across the world Infosys has got good brand value when compared wid other indian MNC's

salary wise i think infy gives better salary than wipro to a fresher.

If i get these 2 offer letters i will prefer Infosys only

Please....I suggest u to reject both the offer letters, I have the worst experience in wipro and the same experience is found in my frnds in infy also. All u get is peanuts without any work satisfaction, since there wont be any developement work. Instead join a small company where u will get work.

Would you go to jail just because it gives you 2 times of food .... go ahead and join a services company. its purely luck where you land up. the best you will do is clean some sh*t code in US.

btw what are you doing here ??? job change .... so why do u want to move. or u did 5-6 bench projects ?????
